MUM celebrated a new book release!

On Sunday, February 23, 2025, Musée Ukraina Museum welcomed Nadia Prokopchuk as she presented her new booklet "The more we dance together, the happier we'll be"

This delightful booklet is the 3rd in a series of stories written in English-Ukrainian rhymes with bright illustrations. They are a great addition to every child's library.
On this afternoon, the Museum also hosted the opening of the new exhibit 'Destroyed Temples of Ukraine' and welcomed visitors to an active afternoon of touring, socializing and refreshments.

Nadia Prokopchuk has worked as a bilingual K-12 classroom teacher, curriculum writer, provincial language consultant, and university instructor. She has authored more than 20 curriculum documents, two educational texts and several journal articles on language learning and multicultural education in Canada. Nadia's latest writing endeavour into children's literature supports her belief that 'Students need to see themselves - their cultures, languages, and their interests - in school texts and library resources'.
