The Ukrainian Heritage Consortium of North America is coming to Saskatoon!
Held every two years, the UHCNA conference brings together curators, archivists, artists, scholars and cultural leaders from across North America.
The 2025 theme is: Reclaiming Heritage: The Role of Museums and Heritage Organizations in Cultural Revitalization and Post-Colonial Recovery.
The proposed itinerary includes a Canadian-led summit of discussion and presentations. Locations of receptions and tours include the Ukrainian Museum of Canada, our Musée Ukraina Museum, Remai Modern and, Wanuskewin Heritage Park. A Gala Dinner with a keynote speaker will celebrate the richness of Ukrainian culture. The conference concludes with Sunday visits to one of Saskatoon's Ukrainian churches.
MUM will host delegates with a special tour and lunch at the Museum on Friday, September 26th. Be a part of this historic event in Saskatoon!
